hot and iced tea, lemonade, and some juices included in the cruise fare.
However, all alcoholic beverages as well as specialty coffee and some other
non-alcoholic drinks (fresh juices, smoothies, and soda) will cost extra. To help
you budget appropriately, we also have all the current drink prices for each of
the MSC World America bars.
If you plan to test out all the
options onboard this new ship, and there are a lot, you may want to consider purchasing
a drink package.
The new MSC Drink Package prices as of April 1, 2025 are:
- Premium Extra Package- $85 per
person, per day
- Alcohol-Free Package- $33 per
person, per day

Luna Park Arena (Deck 6)
Luna Park Arena is just one of three
exciting entertainment venues on MSC World America. This interactive venue
hosts a variety of activities during the cruise including dance classes and
family-friendly games during the day and themed experiences in the evenings for
adults. So when you’re dancing it up at Miami Nights or Après, a Euro
Alpine Party, there’s a nearby bar to grab some drinks. Tucked off to one side
of the dance floor on the lower level of this transformational space, the Luna
Park Arena bar serves up a variety of classic cocktails.
Jean Philippe Chocolate
& Café (Deck 6) Jean Philippe Chocolate
& Cafe is a chocolate lover’s paradise. This venue serves a variety of
treats that are available for an upcharge. There’s chocolates, gelato, sundaes,
crepes, and more that are crafted on board in an open-air kitchen. This venue
also serves espresso-based beverages and specialty hot chocolate drinks. Unfortunately,
though, none of the food or drinks are included in any dining or drink packages
Dolce Vita Bar (Deck 6) Dolce
Vita Bar is a lively venue located in the heart of the World Galleria. Guests
can live the “sweet life” day and night as this venue is open most of the day.
Hosting various trivia sessions, dance classes, and live music, guests never
have far to go to grab their favorite drinks.
Dolce Vita serves the standard bar
menu with a variety of cocktails, beers, and wines, as well as espresso-based
drinks that are included in the drink package.
Masters of the Sea (Deck 7) This English-style pub offers various ales and lagers on
tap and three signature beers brewed right onboard MSC World America. This
popular venue features dark woods, leather furniture, and nautically themed
accents for a true pub atmosphere. Additionally, there is live music here in
the evenings, so guests can sing along to their favorite songs with the
acoustic guitarist. When you get hungry, there’s also food available at a la
carte pricing with items like fish & chips or bangers & mash.
Hola! Cantina (Deck 7) Hola!
Tacos and Cantina serves up Mexican-style street food in a vibrant open setting
restaurant, with a nearby bar also serving up some tasty drinks. If you’d
prefer to just pull up a seat at the bar instead of dining at the restaurant,
you can certainly do so. The Hola! Cantina features a variety of tequila,
mezcal, and cerveza. So, you can choose from a standard margarita or create
your own.
MSC Signature Casino Bar
(Deck 7) If you find yourself in
the casino, you’ll probably need a beverage to go along with your gaming. Lucky
for you, there’s the convenient, centrally located MSC Signature Casino Bar.
Even if you don’t like to gamble, getting a drink here is a safe bet as this is
one of the late night bars on the ship.
Panorama Lounge (Deck 7) The Panorame Lounge is another entertainment space on MSC
World America, located all the way aft on Deck 7. This venue is home to two
brand-new shows, Queen Symphonic and Cinesonic, which feature intimate
performances with singers, dancers, and aerialists set to upbeat music. While
enjoying these shows, or any of the other energetic events occurring here,
guests can grab drinks from the full bar on the upper level.
Zest Juice Bar (Deck 8) For
those looking for something a bit healthier on MSC World America, they’ll want
to head to the Zest Juice Bar located just outside the Aurea Spa. This venue
serves fresh-made smoothies, energy juices, shakes, and more. These beverages
are included in the MSC drink package.
The Gin Project (Deck 8)
Upstairs from Masters of the Sea is
the more sophisticated Gin Project. Overlooking the pub below, this bar offers
a dedicated menu of gin-based cocktails with over 20 craft gins. You can even
craft your own gin and tonic here. This terrace cocktail bar is an inviting and
cozy space for a pre-dinner or post-dinner drink, while listening to the live
music.
The Loft (Deck 8) The Loft is a brand-new concept for MSC Cruises. At this
new venue, guests can laugh, sing, and dance. The Loft features comedy shows,
dueling pianos, and karoake all in one space. Taking the place of the Raj Tea
House on MSC World Europa, The Loft also features a bar with signature
cocktails and outdoor terrace seating.
Elixir Mixology Bar (Deck 8) The Exilir Mixology Bar on MSC’s World Class ships
resembles the cocktail bar on Seaside Class ships. However, MSC World America
features a different menu than the one we sampled on World Europa last year.
This new menu has a focus on bourbon and whiskey based cocktails, along with
other select cocktails like an espresso martini. There’s even outdoor seating
on the terrace for those wanting some ocean breezes.
Fizz Champagne Bar (Deck 8) The dazzling Fizz Champagne Bar offers a variety of
champagne, prosecco, and other bubbly drinks in a sophisticated atmosphere.
This bar also offers al fresco seating for those wanting to enjoy the sunset.
This is the perfect setting to sip a pre-dinner cocktail before dining in one
of the specialty restaurants.
Coffee Emporium (Deck 8) Now,
perhaps the absolute best addition to MSC’s World Class ships is the Coffee
Emporium located on the World Promenade, especially for coffee lovers. Much
like a Starbucks on land, the Coffee Emporium serves up specialty coffee drinks
like lattes and cappuccinos….and it even serves espresso martinis! The good
news is that most of the drinks here are included in the drink package too.
All-Stars Sports Bar (Deck 8) Debuting on MSC World America is the brand-new All-Stars
Sports Bar. Located in the Promenade district, this pub offers a menu of
game-day fare, a wide selections of beers on tap (even a beer wall!), and
several televisions to watch your home team. The lively space features games
like interactive darts and digital shuffleboard and foosball as well. With
indoor seating and an open-air terrace, this is bound to be a popular
spot. While the drinks here are included in the drink package, the food is
available at a la carte prices.
Mar Azul Bar (Deck 18) Mar Azul Bar is the large pool bar located on the portside
near the aptly named main outdoor pool, Mar Azul. If you’ve sailed on World
Europa, you’ll notice that this bar is a new addition for World America. The
Mar Azul Bar serves up the standard pool bar menu which features classic
poolside libations like a strawberry daiquiri, mojito, pina colada, and frozen
margaritas.
La Perla Bar (Deck 18) La Perla is a second poolside bar located on the starboard
side of the pool deck slightly aft of the Mar Azul Bar. Aside from serving
classic cocktails, there’s also a gelato counter with selections available for
an upcharge. With La Boca Grill across the way on the portside, those lounging
poolside will never have far to go to grab something to eat or drink.
Zen Bar (Deck 18) The adults-only Zen Pool area is aft on Deck 18. This space
is significantly larger than the adults-only area on other MSC ships. There are
plenty of loungers and two good-sized pools, giving those 18+ a quiet retreat
from the rest of the families on the ship. To ensure you don’t have to leave,
there’s also the centrally located Zen Bar serving all your favorite poolside
drinks as well.
Botanic Garden Bar (Deck
19) The Botanic Garden Bar is perched
above the Botanic Garden Pool. This family-friendly pool area has intricate
theming and a retractable roof, meaning it’s always a pool day no matter the
weather outside. There is also additional lounge seating and some tabletop
games located upstairs on both sides of the bar. While you are enjoying all the
fun that this space has to offer, the Botanic Garden Bar will serve up your
favorite Caribbean cocktails.
The Box Bar (Deck 20) Inside the MSC Sportplex, there is the Box Bar. This way,
the adults can enjoy a beverage while the kids enjoy the bumper cars, indoor
soccer, rollerskating, and everything else the Sportplex has to offer. There’s
also some comfy lounge furniture to relax with your beverages. This bar’s menu
is basically the same as the pool bar menu.
The Harbour Bar &
Bites (Deck 20) Another brand-new venue
found only on MSC World America is The Harbour Bar & Bites. Located on the
starboard side in the lively Family Aventura district, this grab-and-go counter
features snacks like empanadas, corn dogs, wraps, and cookies, plus cold
beverages. The bar menu features your standard drink lineup with beer, wine,
and classic cocktails.
Speakeasy Bar Shhh! This secret bar is available by invite only.
Transporting lucky guests back in time to the prohibition era, this speakeasy
features live jazz music, one-of-a-kind cocktails, and intricately themed
decor. If you’re lucky enough to score the official coin invitation, you’ll be
treated to an unforgettable evening. While
we didn’t get to experience this on World America, we have a sample menu from
World Europa. Of note, none of these drinks were included in the drink package.
Exclusive Bars For guests staying in MSC Yacht Club, there are two additional
bars to enjoy. The Top Sail Lounge offers handcrafted cocktails, small bites,
and light evening music. There is also an outdoor sitting area at the front of
the lounge above the ship’s bridge with oversized chairs and couches. The
outdoor sundeck also features a bar along with a grill, pool, and plenty of
loungers and deck space.
Guests with the Aurea Experience have
access to the Top 20 Solarium. In addition to other perks like My Choice Dining
and use of the thermal suite, guests have their own private sundeck and bar.
MSC World America Drink
Prices
When considering an MSC World America
drink package, it’s important to know the average prices of all the drinks
available on the ship to determine if it’s a good value for you. The Premium
Extra Package covers all drinks worth up to $16.
Guests should also note that as of
April 2025, MSC Cruises’ beverage packages only include up to 15 alcoholic
drinks per day. If guests want more than 15, they’ll need to pay for additional
beverages.
Below is a breakdown of MSC World America drink prices:
- Beer: $9-$10 average
- Wine: $14-$16 average, select
wines priced higher
- Cocktails: $14-$16 average,
drinks at Gin Project, Elixir, and Fizz priced up to $20
- Mocktails: $10 average
- Spirits: $14-$20 average
- Specialty Coffee: $4-$6 average
- Water: $3.25-$5.25
- Smoothies/Protein Shakes: $11
- Soda: $3.50
- Juice: $3.50
- Enery Drinks: $5
- Gatorade: $4.50
Using these MSC World America drink
prices, it would mean that guests need to consume 9-10 beers a day, around 6
glasses of wine a day, or 6 cocktails a day to break even. Of course, this
doesn’t take non-alcoholic drink options into account. If you consume specialty
coffee, bottled water, or smoothies, you could hit this break even point much
quicker.
